
Fr. Reginald Mark Fox
Assistant Curate
Fr. Mark was born on June 7th,
1952, began his education at Oakes Field Primary School followed by secondary education at
St. Augustines College, Fox Hill. He
perused his tertiary education at the University of Miami where, in 1992, be obtained a
Maters of Business Administration. Later he
was awarded a Bachelors degree (Honors) in Theology from the University of the West
Indies and Codrington College.
Fr. Mark has an extensive managerial
background prior to testing his vocation to the Sacred Priesthood. He served as a Bahamas Customs Officer from 1969
to 1974. Later he served as Manager of
Imports and Exports at Island Merchants Limited. In
1977 he joined Picket Foods Limited and served as manager of the McDonalds
operation. After serving as manager of Dunkin
Donuts between 1984 and 1989, he joined the staff of Holy Trinity Anglican Church as the
parishs first full time administrator.
Fr. Mark, in his capacity as parish
administrator, supervised the operations of the parish office of 13. He watched over
establishment and operation of parish ministries and major parish projects including the
construction of the Holy Trinity Activity Centre. While at Holy Trinity Fr. Mark assumed
the leadership of the 3rd Bahamas Scout Troop, He served as Assistant
Superintendent of the Parishs Sunday school and also conducted Adult Bible Study. He is a firm believer in the renewal ministries of
the church and in that capacity as acted as a Faith Alive Coordinator, trainer
in the Evangelism Explosion program and has held various roles in the
Discovery and Cursillo Weekends.
In 2001 Fr. Mark, shortly after his
ordination to the Deaconate, was assigned to parish of St. George, Montrose Avenue. In his capacity as Assistant Curate, Fr. Mark has
continued his work in youth ministry, Bible study and counseling.
Fr. Mark is married to Mildred Fox (nee
Moss) and they have two children, Mnephra and Krystal.
