MUSIC AT ST. GEORGE
Music at St. George's can be considered "Ancient and Modern". At the establishment of the Church some 55 years ago the music was quite simple. An organist, accompanied by a musical sword and Violin was the music for the small group of worshippers.
Over the years the music ministry has grown tremendously to where the parish now enjoys a music ministry of three choral groups, praise and worship team and a number of instrumentalists.
The Chief Organist of the Parish is Mrs. B. Brenda Archer (nee Robinson). Mrs. Archer has been the organist for more than 40 years and began at the tender age of 19. Other Musicians at the Keyboard include:
Mrs. Jewel Pierre, Assistant Organist
Mr. Dexter Fernander, Organist and Pianist
Mr. Sean Neil Pinder, Pianist.
The parish also has a talented Youth Choir under the direction of Miss Alyson Estwick.
The entire music department is under the direction of Mr. Adrian A. W. Archer. The Music department can be reached via this email music@batelnet.bs

IMAGES OF THE CHOIR'S VACATION CRUISE
August 7th -14th 2004
Every year members of the Music department endeavor to take a break away from the Island to chill and hang. It's a great opportunity for members of the Sr. and Youth choral groups to socialize and have fun. This year we went on a 5 day Caribbean Cruise. We visited Ports-of-Call like Grand Cayman and Cozumel. The Last two (2) days was spent in Tampa Florida.
