On June 29th, 2006, the Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul, the Reverend Laish Boyd, Rector of Holy Cross Anglican Church was consecrated as the 18th Bishop of the Diocese of The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands (and the 5th Bahamian Bishop). The Consecration took place after Fr. Boyd's election in February of this year and was attended by fifteen Bishops of the Provience of the West Indies.
